Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are now becoming increasingly common and
can be found in airports, train stations supermarkets and shopping centres.

The 1st Responder AED module provides an orientation and hands-on training to use AEDs in conjunction with Primary Care skills. Research shows that the chances of a patient's survival increase from less than 8% to over 70% when as AED is used promptly.

The module lasts approximately 3 hours and covers all the essential skills required to use an AED effectively and safely and can be taken as an addition to first aid qualifications already held.

The module complies with Resuscitation Council core competencies for AED use.

Prices are per person - please contact us for group rates and discounts.
